We didn’t have a lot of time to write today since we had some bad luck. The laptop failed on us during the presentation (probably overheated), when we went to a truckwash (1h. drive), it was out of order and when we finally arrived back at the hotel our parking place was taken…! Luckily Vilnius is a beautiful city, according to Johnny one of the most beautiful of the Baltic States, so that brightens our day! More about our days in Vilnius is written by Stefan Smets (below)

The world, the final frontier
It's continuing mission: to explore strange new counties, to seek out new opportunities and new investors; to boldly go where no man has gone before! Jaga’s starship “the Experience Truck” with Johnny and Magda at its command, landed in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania. One of the three Baltic States, the last visit in the row of three. But what do they say about the last? Wasn’t it: “Last but not least” ? Well, I can assure all of you… it really wasn’t the least. Lithuania is a country with a very old culture and a history of many striking events and wars. Too much to enumerate, but worthwhile checking out.
I had the possibility to check out this beautiful country together with Jan Kriekels and our partner in Lithuania, Vilterma.
Day 1
After a very quiet flight with very nice stewardesses, Jan and I arrived in Vilnius Airport. Was this the beginning of an interesting visit? We very soon found out that this really was going to be a very interesting visit. The beloved Jurate Speciene picked us up and together with Johnny and Magda, we went for lunch in the city, not far away from the hotel. After lunch, we prepared the conference room. This went very smoothly because the hotel was very well equipped for such events. Afterwards, small dinner and…..off to bed !!!
Day 2
Day of the forum. Jurate was afraid that many of the invited wouldn’t show up due to holiday on 3/11. All the invited had busy schedules and didn’t confirm their presence. So we waited and waited and… more than 50 people showed up! The presentation went very well and everybody was astonished about the things that were told. Energy and ecology are things of the world and this mission of the Experience Tour tries to emphasize this.
Day 3
Brainstorm day with our partner in Lithuania, Jurate!!! This was held in the back of the Experience Truck. Unbelievable… Now I know why this is called the experience truck. This really was an experience at itself. Try not to write as a doctor (unreadable) in the back of a driving truck. I dare you!! We went to Trakai, the former capital city of Lithuania. There, we had lunch in a very nice restaurant with view on the castle of Trakai. The day was coming to an end and we finished off the last discussions while driving in
the back of the truck.
Just 1 more drink in a lounge bar with panoramic view on the city of Vilnius and then we went to bed. Our visit came to an end, and I can say that it was an amazing visit to a beautiful city and just as Raf said after his visit to Estonia: “I can’t wait to go back!!!
