Interesting ‘green’ websites
To show you that Jaga isn’t standing alone in the challenge for a better future, here are a few websites that are also involved in the maintenance of nature and our climate. There are commercial websites about ecological tourism and eco-products and activist websites concerned about our world.
Commercial:
http://www.groenevakantiegids.nl

On this website from the European Centre for Ecological and Agricultural Tourism, you can find over 1000 unique lodging and campsite addresses in the European countryside. It’s all about an ecological holiday, for example on a agricultural farm or self-development countryside. You can choose by country and place and contact the owners of the ecological places yourself. (tip: on the left you can choose from 8 languages)
http://www.greenwarehouse.co.uk
This warehouse in the United Kingdom delivers all kinds of products with a green ‘label’: recycling, composting, push lawn mower, folding bikes and eco products. At every product is explained how to use it and why it has a green label. Too bad they still only deliver in the UK. Let’s hope they will expand their delivery range soon!
Activists:
http://plantyourfuture.blogspot.com
A group of young people started a group to talk about the climate. Now they have groups all over Europe. Their goal is to analyse the situation in the EU through a comparison of countries participating in this project and to raise awareness on the threats of their future. They also want to create space for an intercultural dialogue and reflect on their behaviour relating to the exploitation and waste of energy.
http://studentsagainstclimatechange.blogspot.com/

A group of students that started the Toronot Mining Support Group, protested in solidarity with several different indigenous communities against open-pit mining, hosted a lecture against nuclear energy with Dr. Edwards, showed numerous films, co-organized the student conference on climate change, and much more.

A group supporting the preservation of the big nature area ‘Rospuda’ in the Baltic States. Including a letter to the president that you can sign and send to him
