Night of the Museum in Bucharest

Sharing = building bridges! On may 16th during the ‘Night of the Museum’, most of Bucharest museums will open their doors throughout the night so that everyone can share the experience of being in a museum and see all their exhibitions, since the entrance will be totally FREE! Now you will not only have the opportunity to see exhibitions during the night, but also you won’t get lost in the city looking for the museums because buses will drive you from the one to the other museum!

Music

The music you hear is the Romanian Rock band Transylvania Phoenix. They are one of the most prominent Romanian Rock ‘n Roll bands of the latest decades from Romania and also the first to take inspiration from ancient Romanian folk themes. Formed in the 1960’s it started by covering Beatles’ songs. But soon they had to change their style as the Romanian communist regime disliked any form of Western culture. That’s how their particular style developed.
