Free Eco Fest in Rhodopi Mountains

 
Why not just doing something on a big scale yourself when it involves a better environment?! That’s what several ecological and sports organizations must have thought when they organized the four days Beglika Fest.
 
The free eco fest in the Rhodopi Mountains was in the middle of the beautiful nature for four days and it was possible to practice sports, do outdoor activities and listen and dance to all types of music. The entrance was free but everyone willing to buy a special shirt-ticket (6 Euro) would contribute to the preservation of the ‘wood-grouse capercalzie’- species, whose habitat in the region is threatened by extinction. The guests were also treated with lectures and information from the eco-organizations. They shared the “what’s going on” with Bulgarian nature and how everyone can help.
