Underwater City

Global warming continues to melt ice tops and glaciers. If it continues with the same speed, most of the coastal areas will be submerged in water in the coming few years. Floating and under water structures could be a solution for humanity if we wouldn’t be able to change the climate change (on time). One of these projects is  ‘Underwater City’ in Bulgaria. It’s a revolutionary town that is ‘built in the middle of a lake, not on an island, but actually below water level’. Though, the city isn’t fully under water, a huge dam (1,377 feet in diameter and 65 in height) is build around the city. The underwater city is actually the ancient city of Seuthopolis, discovered in 1948, which came into being, after a dam was destroyed in Bulgaria. Now it is to become one of the most ambitious under water projects ever.
