Swedish Design Award 2008: Sustainable development
 
The Swedish Design Award is the most prestigious design award of Sweden that is given to a design that offers ‘solutions’ on all disciplines. The edition of 2008 was based on sustainable development. Think about topics as the climate, environment, quality of life on the long term and social well-being. The goal of the award is to show the world that good design will contribute to the society as a whole. Sponsor of the show is the car fabricate Saab. They develop cars on bio-ethanol.
 
 These were the ten winners of 2008. The next awarding will be in 2010.
