Guinness Book attempt: 510-meter-long poppy seed cake 
 
Warsaw's Nowy Świat Street will be the scene of an attempt to make a record-breaking, 510-meter-long poppy seed cake on December 6th 2008. The event organizer, the Polish Bakalland, aims to break the world record as established in Hungary in 2007, where a 500-meter poppy seed cake was baked. Polish celebrities will sign pieces of the cake, which will be sold to guests. The funds raised in this way will be donated to a foundation helping children in Poland.
