Mansilla and Tunon Architects have designed a building for Madrid that will bring the city on the Green Map of the world. The building, which will function as an International Convention Center, will be cylindrical and its façade will be lined with solar panels. Apart from generating solar electricity, the interiors of the building will mostly be illuminated with daylight entering the building through the concave spheres, which will save the costs and energy of lighting.
