Signing the Countdown 2010 Declaration today, Ministers Janez Podobnik and Iztok Jarc reconfirmed their commitment to halting biodiversity loss by 2010.
The trip to Ljubljana went very well and after arriving we made a short walk through the city. It’s cosy, and not expensive so we bought a pair of new shoes for Magda. We went to bed early in our very nice hotel with only 6 guests (while it has 100 bedrooms). The day after we walked through the snow to the castle where the Jaga Forum will be held. It’s a very nice location, very modern techniques and friendly staff. It snowed during the whole night so that, when we woke up the next morning, the snow was 1 metre higher than the night before!
