The keyfigure of Slovanian music in the 19th century was Leopold Antonín Dvořák. His works include operas, symphonic, choral and chamber music. His best-known works are the New World Symphony, the Slavonic Dances and Cello Concerto in B minor.

Carpathian EcoRegion Initiative (CERI) is a coalition of NGOs and research institutes working towards a common vision for conservation and sustainable development of the Carpathians. CERI was originally created as a project by the WWF Danube-Carpathian Programme in 1999. The Carpathian Mountains in Central and Eastern Europe are a range of mountains that form an arc of roughly 1.500 km across Central and Eastern Europe, making them the largest mountain range in Europe.

Unfortunately we didn’t have much time to visit Bratislava. What we saw was a little gray and dull, although the city centre is very authentic. The rest of Slovakia was a pleasure to drive through!
